Weapon

Madison Fisher

No, my makeup is not too much.
It is my weapon
My armor
You scoff, I know.
But.
I cannot kick a can off a punching bag
I cannot wheel and twist and spin in the air,
proving that I am something dangerous.
No.
But I can learn.
Yes.
I cannot throw a knife that will nick someone's ear
But I can wear a deadly smile
My laughs like a warning.
I can fortify my steel with mascara
With eyeliner sharp enough to cut
I can protect with my shield-
I can flip my hair and cross my arms and I can stand.
On heels, I can pierce with.
With a knife in my hand
And nails like claws.
